Campaign activities

Once you and the creative agency have decided on which communication channels will be used for the campaign, work together to decide which campaign activities should be used to deliver the key messages. As detailed previously (link to above), campaign activities may include dramas, spots or jingles for radio or television; advertisements or informational handouts for print; SMS, WhatsApp or social media messages to targeted users; songs, theatre performances or demonstrations in the community.

Each campaign activity will have its own development needs. Television dramas and theatre performances will require story development, scripts, casting, and costumes; print media will need clear messages and images; songs used in live events, radio or television will require lyrics and music before they are recorded. Define your campaign activities as part of your communication strategy, while the tools and materials to support each activity will be created during the creative development process.
